Intro to Search Engine Marketing 23rd November 05


Due to popular demand this seminar has been added to the programme

An Introduction to Search Engine Marketing

Ann Stanley, Regional Director of online marketing agency will present an introduction to search engine marketing.

This interactive workshop will cover:

• The 4 techniques of search engine marketing
•How results are displayed in the search engines
•How search engine spiders work and what factors in your website can block them
•why keyphrases and content are important
•the steps used during optimisation
•Google 'page rank' and 'sand box'
•How to develop links to your site
•Introduction to 'pay per click'

In the second half of the seminar we will go online to show you how to 'audit' your site and carry out key phrase research.

This will give you some DIY tips on how to improve your own site.

You will also be able to ask Ann those burning questions on Web marketing!
